Operators find emails; they can't hand you the files. When you need the results as actual documents, Dioveo searches every attachment you've ever received and downloads them in bulk.

How to use it

From a vague memory to the right email

  1. 1

    Add what you remember

Write one sentence with any sender, filename, subject, size, status, label, exclusion, or date you remember.

  2. 2

    Copy the generated query

Bedrock translates the description into valid Gmail operators. The result stays visible so you can inspect or edit it.

  3. 3

    Run it in Gmail

Copy the query or use Open in Gmail. Gmail—not Dioveo—runs the search against your mailbox.

When Gmail search stops

Need the files, not a list of email threads?

Gmail can find matching conversations. Dioveo indexes the attachments themselves, so you can filter years of files and download the selected results together.

FAQ

Natural-language Gmail search questions

How is this different from Gmail's advanced search form?

Gmail provides useful fields and search chips. This translator is for combinations that are awkward to assemble manually: describe the result in one sentence and get a visible, editable Gmail operator query with grouped file types, exclusions, exact ranges, labels, status, senders, and sizes.

Does this tool access or read my Gmail?

No. The tool does not connect to Gmail or read your mailbox. Only the description you type is processed by Amazon Bedrock in the EU to create the query. Dioveo does not store that description. Open in Gmail takes you to Gmail with the generated query in the URL.

Why are AI conversions limited?

Each IP address gets 10 successful AI conversions per UTC day. The limit protects the free tool from automated abuse and controls model cost. Failed model requests are not counted, and the manual query builder remains unlimited.

Can I search for more than one attachment type?

Yes. Select multiple file types and the builder groups them as alternatives. For example, selecting JPG and PNG creates has:attachment {filename:jpg filename:png}.

Can Gmail download every attachment in the search results at once?

Gmail search returns matching email conversations, but it does not provide one button to download all files across those conversations. Dioveo can index the attachment files themselves, apply filters, and download the selected results in bulk.
