What to know

Supported files
PDF, DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, PPTX, TXT, CSV and photos or scans in JPG, PNG, HEIC and TIFF. Scanned invoices are read with OCR and more of their values are sent to review.
Old and new invoices
Both. When you activate, choose whether to process the invoices already in your mailbox, the ones arriving from now on, or both. The sheet keeps filling as new matching invoices arrive.
Permissions
Dioveo reads your Gmail attachments through Google OAuth and never modifies your mail. To write the sheet it asks for access to the Google Sheets and Drive files it creates; the spreadsheet is yours, in your own Drive.
Accuracy
AI extraction can misread a value. Every cell shows the page and line it came from, missing fields stay empty, and uncertain readings go to a review queue where you see the document beside the value.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on invoices from old emails?
Yes. Dioveo indexes your entire Gmail history, so invoices from years ago are available. When you activate the workflow you choose whether to include existing invoices, future ones, or both.
Does it work on scanned invoices?
Yes. Scanned and photographed documents are read as well as digital ones. Scans are harder, so more of their values are sent to review, which is where you want them.
What if it reads something wrong?
You see three of your own invoices extracted before anything is saved. After that, uncertain values go to a review queue where you see the document beside the value and can correct it before the row is written.
Can I choose my own columns?
Yes. Start from the invoice template and rename, add or remove columns, set each one as text, date, amount or a fixed list of choices, and mark the ones that matter as required.
Can I get an Excel file instead of a Google Sheet?
The workflow writes a Google Sheet in your Drive, which opens in Excel and exports to XLSX from Google Sheets. A connected AI assistant can also export the extracted values as CSV or XLSX on request.
Does it change my email?
No. Dioveo reads attachments and writes to a spreadsheet it creates. Your mail is never modified.
Will it duplicate rows?
No. Each attachment is written once, tracked by a hidden identifier in the sheet, so retries and repeat runs never produce a second row for the same document.
How many invoices can it extract?
Pro includes document-to-spreadsheet extraction within a monthly AI processing allowance. Usage varies by document size and complexity; your remaining allowance is shown in Dioveo.
